Mollis for Lt. Governor Announces Major Wave of Endorsements
From the Mollis for Lt. Governor Campaign

PROVIDENCE, RI – Candidate for Lt. Governor A. Ralph Mollis announces today that he has received the endorsements of four Democratic Town Committees. These committees are (in the order they were received): Charlestown, Smithfield, Barrington, and North Kingstown.

Notably, Mollis has received the endorsements of every committee that has endorsed thus far. Also, both the Charlestown and Smithfield Committees voted unanimously for Mollis.

“Ralph Mollis has done a wonderful job as our Secretary of State, and we are very pleased to endorse his candidacy for Lt. Governor. He brings great ideas for the Office of Lt. Governor and the critical issue of our state’s economic recovery. My fellow Charlestown Democrats and I are very impressed with his forward-looking vision for the role of Lt. Governor and his commitment to make that office a bridge between RI state government and the citizens that it serves,” said Charlestown Democratic Town Committee Chair Cathy Collette.

“Mollis has done an outstanding job with the Secretary of State’s Office turning it into an excellent resource for business development. I know he will bring leadership and innovation to the Lieutenant Governor’s Office,” said Smithfield Democratic Town Committee Chair Larry Mancini.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the chairs and members of the Charlestown, Smithfield, Barrington, and North Kingstown Democrats for past, present, and continued support of my service to RI,” said Ralph Mollis. “I have often said that the Democratic City and Town Committees are the backbone of the RI Democratic Party and I look forward to their continued involvement in our campaign.”

These are first endorsements released in the 2nd quarter of 2014. They join the endorsements of RISAFF and UFCW Local 328. For more information and useful links, please visit: www.mollis2014.com.
